OBO’ is the newest restaurant brought to you by the Selland Hospitality Group, joining the estimable group of Sacramento area restaurants owned and operated by the Selland family — Randall Selland, Nancy Zimmer, Tamera Baker and Josh Nelson. Their restaurants include: The Kitchen Restaurant, Ella Dining Room and Bar and Sellands Neighborhood Cafe and Bar. In a nod to the importance of family with these restaurateurs, the name OBO’ Italian is a playful take on one of the youngest members of the family, Owen Nelson, Josh Nelson’s son, whose nickname is “Obo”.
