OBO’ is the newest Selland Family Restaurant, joining the estimable group of Sacramento area restaurants owned and operated by the Selland Family: Randall Selland, Nancy Zimmer, Tamera Baker and Josh Nelson. Their restaurants include The Kitchen, Ella Dining Room and Bar, and three Selland’s Market Café locations. In a nod to the importance of family with these restaurateurs, the name OBO’ Italian is a playful take on one of the youngest members of the family, Owen Nelson, Josh Nelson’s son, whose nickname is “Obo”.
